We're Dave and Debbie Anderson and we have four great kids along with the three dogs.  Our golden story actually begins with a golden retriever that we rescued in 1999.  Duffy won our hearts to the breed.  She was a wonderful playmate for the kids, hunter for dad, and all-around pal for anyone that would scratch her head or play fetch.  After a good deal of research and some great encouragement from friends who raised goldens, we decided to share the joy of golden retrievers with others.  Raising goldens became a family project, making sure not only that our breeding dogs were of top quality and great temperament, but also well-trained and well-loved.   The kids and the dogs really enjoyed being in 4-H, and did quite well in the shows.  In fact, 4-H is a great way to do dog training; you should check it out!  There's a link on our home page for 4-H.  Dad and Daniel have gone on to show dogs in both AKC and UKC shows.  You can see what the dogs have done on their individual pages.  It's been great interacting with and learning from other handlers and breeders at the shows.  Our first litter of puppies came in 2006.  Our puppies have found some fantastic homes, and we've enjoyed getting to know and interact with their new owners.

Dave is an assistant pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Warren, MI, directing both the teen and music ministries of the church and teaching at the school.  Debbie is a stay-at-home mom.
